How to never lose your budget
Add it to your home screen
iPhone: in Safari, tap ⋯ next to the address bar, then Share › Add to Home Screen. Keep Open as Web App on and tap Add.
Android: in Chrome, tap ⋮ › Add to home screen (or Install app) › Install.
On iPhone this matters: Safari can clear website data you haven't opened for 7 days. Home screen apps are kept.
Choose one main device
Your phone and computer don't sync. Log your spending on one device, and move a backup when you switch.
Back up once a month
Save a backup file or copy the transfer code at the start of each month. Northlight reminds you after 30 days.
Avoid private browsing
Private and incognito windows forget everything when you close them.
Before you clear your browser
Clearing history or website data deletes your budget. Make a backup first.
